Panjab FA lined up against Chagos Island for a World Cup Qualifier match in order to secure qualification for the CONIFA World Cup 2020 – Panjab FA started the game well with Captain Aran Singh Basi scoring a goal in the 9th minute of the 1st half. As the Panjab team continued to apply pressure on the Chagos Team, this was swiftly followed a goal by Shuja Mehmood & Shaqs Master within the first half an hour, this was swiftly followed up by a further two goals Shuja Mehmood to make it a hattrick, ending the half with Panjab FA sitting comfortably with 5 goals.

Panjab FA entered the second half with several changes to the team that started that match which allowed Chagos to build some momentum into the game as the Panjab team appeared to take their foot off the gas, however the team stayed resolute and focused throughout the 2nd half and added sixth goal in the 87th Minute with Aqeel Butt scoring the final goal of the game.
